Rename Hamburger “Menu”

    I hope this is simple…

    There is a little hamburger icon and then the word “Menu” on the mobile version of this theme. I simply want to change the text for that “Menu” to be “菜单 Menu” (since I’ve got a bilingual site).

    Anyone know where that word “Menu” is sitting so I can go in and tweak it?

    Hello laowaichinese,

    You have to edit navigation-top.php file for it located at wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen/template-parts/navigation/ directory.

    Search for _e( 'Menu', 'twentyseventeen' ); code and edit it.

    For example _e( '菜单Menu', 'twentyseventeen' );

    Note : All Changes you done in navigation-top.php or other file are gone when you update theme. So prefer Child Theme
