Rename: “GTIN> EAN”

For the front end, there is a translatable string ‘GTIN: ‘ with the text domain woo-add-gtin.

Sorry, where i can change the word GTIN for another in the front end.

I’ll be releasing a plugin update next week that allows you to change this more easily.

Looking forward to that update mentioned above! Is there a way to make the UPC show and change for variations the same way it does for the simple products?

It already works for variable products, see the installation instructions.

It adds a field to enter the UPC but it does not appear on the product page the same way it does for simple products.

You might have a plugin conflict that is causing the issue.

I’ve deactivated all plugins (except of woocommerce) but it didn’t help. I don’t see the field on pages for variable products.

Can you link me to the product you are referring to so I can take a look?

Same thing is happening to me. I have separate item numbers (in the GTIn field) for each variation but it’s not showing on the page below the sku

Can you go to WooCommerce -> Settings => products -> inventory and make sure the “hide gtin” setting is unchecked? https://cl.ly/3Z1C2u1x2f2g

If that is unchecked, then it might be a conflict with your theme. Please try a different theme by going to Appearance => Customize => Change theme => live preview. Don’t activate the theme, just preview it to see if the GTIN is there.

Yeah, looking forward to 0.2.0 going production. I’m tempted to download from the repo but concerned that there might be a reason for not doing so. Guessing something in the config here just hasn’t updated 0.2.0 to be the current release.
