Rename file to page/post title

    Hi, I would like to rename my image with the name of the post title of the page/post they are used on. Example: image name 1234erblabla.jpg was added to post with title Best Brownies. I would like to automatically rename the image bestbrownies.jpg (or best-brownies.jpg or something along those lines). I have 500 of these to do. Is this something your plugin can do? If not, I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you very much!

    Phoenix Media Rename doesn’t have this kind of capability, but it would be a nice new feature ??

    Now I’m working on an issue with another plugin, I’ll check if it is possible to automatically rename files using the post title in a few days.

    I developed a partial solution: I added the functionality you asked for, but it works only if you select a single file for each post (I’m working on a complete solution that serialize the filenames, but is a little bit tricky).

    If you want, I can send you the current version to test it and see if it is what you are asking.

    Wow, that is interesting! That makes sense, as there are possibly several images in one post and I can see how that would get tricky. Sure, I’d love to give that a test for you! I am not sure how to send you my email address without it appearing publicly…

    I just released version 3.1.0 that add the bulk operation you requested.

    this version (compared to the development version you already have) adds the capability to rename multiple files attached to the same post, in this case the file names will be serialized.
