Rename a Text Widget

  • Hi, I have just upgraded to 2.5.1, found a theme that is compatable and started working on my widgets. I needed to move one text widget from one sidebar to the other, but the edit link at the end isn’t showing.
    So I tried to do another text widget for the second sidebar and then I was going to delete one of them, but I can’t.
    Is there a way for me to change the name of the text widget without the edit link? I did read that if you give a text widget too long a name the edit link disappears. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    I have managed to sort the problem!
    Although the edit doesn’t show up, if you hover your cursor over the end of the text widget, you will find a clickable area, click on it and the edit page appears and then you can edit the name, change the content or delete the text widget.
