Removing /wp-admin from URL

  • Hi!

    Does anyone know how you can remove wp-admin from the URL of a WordPress site once logged in. We’ve changed the login URL but have also been asked to remove it from the URL once logged in. Not something we’ve been asked before.

    e.g. once logged in and looking at a site you might have a URL like this – https://www.thisisawebsite.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

    Can we remove /wp-admin/ and change it to something else?

    Any help would be appreciated.
