Removing wordpress status bar

    Recently I have installed Buddypress on my website. After installation, though I have provided a link for “Sign up” and “Sign in” on the Main Menu, but still a status bar is appearing on the top of my website showing “WordPress icon”, “Log in” and “Register” button. How can I remove the status bar from the top?
