Removing white space where author /post date had been

My site is blog.wickedwalkabout.com.au The space did not bother me too much, except that for some posts I have an image first and it would be nice to have the space gone so the image is seem more… not a big deal over all… Thanks for any help though! Cheers.

I can see your page, but I can’t locate the problem. I can see some white space on the single post page, but not so much in the front page (apart from what looks like the right amount of white space on top of each image in the grid). Could you please be more precise?

It is simply the space where the author /post date would normally be in the single post page. Not really worth too much effort to solve, I can live with it.

Yes Jane, I guessed right then. It’s just that the link you posted took me to the home page, not to the single post page.

In your child theme or custom CSS editor, add this rule

.single main {
  margin-top: -50px;
}

You can tweak the -50px value until you find the right amount of white space that you like.
