Removing white space at top/header issues

My site is https://www.clownlink.com
I am trying to do two things.
a) remove the white space at the top of my header image
b) get the three nav links at the top to spread out.I had it fixed for a previous version of the theme, and it got washed out when I updated the theme.
I am now using a child theme, so hopefully that won’t happen anymore.
(I assume that I add whatever css magic I need to add in the child theme, and that will stay current?)

Add below css into your current child theme’s style.css file.
/*Remove white space*/ #header-wrap{ display:none; } /*Menu*/ #mainnav #mainnav-menu li { float: left; padding: 20px; } /*Active Menu*/ #mainnav #mainnav-menu li.current-menu-item a{ font-size: 17px; background:#B64747 ; color:#fff; padding: 10px; }
