Removing top header

Hi there all,

Could someone please shed some light for me on this little issue.
So I applied a theme, called Magnitude. It works fine for (sorry for a lousy site, still working on the content). But what I need is that Red top header removed completely. Theme settings won’t allow that, it only allows to toggle date and social icons on/off. I want it gone completely.
Most likely I need to delete/add a piece of code, but I am newbie with wordpress.
