Removing the " Published by admin " and date lines

    Hello, guys. There is another topic which relates to this issue, however, I have already added

    .author {
display: none;
}

    to my theme’s CSS file, however ” Published by admin ” did not go away.

    I there anything I am doing wrong? Is there anything you would suggest?

    That would only work if your website’s theme was the same as the one referenced in the other topic. Is it?
