The email template has a <br> in between the header and preheader. I am trying to remove that using a filter in my functions.php but haven’t had any luck. I’ve tried CSS and modifying the HTML of the header to remove 20px(margin-top-20px) on different things and it shows up fine on the site in the preview but when the email is sent the gap is there. Any ideas? The only way to remove it was by removing it from the plugin template.html file and on any update of the plugin would obviously overwrite that. Please help.

    Hey @vem0m
You can go to the tab “advanced”
There’s a button to export the template file to your theme.
With this feature you have your own template file which is save from being overwritten during the next update.
    best regards, Hannes

I was wanting to avoid that. Is that the only way?

It’s still messed up. Exported and now I get no background color on my header. I’ve changed the code to try and force it, used the standard variable but I get no background color on my header or under the header image. This “template” seems REALLY messed up. At least when testing with Gmail. My host email seems to get the email correctly. Any ideas?

Gmail still seems to be removing the header’s background color. Or am I the only one having this issue? I’ve cleared all templates out, cleared all plugin settings, uninstalled the plugin and wiped my database of anything related to this plugin. It’s still happening.

It does not happen on version 2.9.3. Seems 2.9.4 is messed up.

I have marked this thread as resolved, due to having posted a new thread concerning the display in gmail emails.

    Best regards
