Hi. First of all thank you very much for the awesome theme. I’m using it as a base to design one of my own. I’ve done a few modifications already, but I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the two brown bars that appear above the top menu and above the footer.
    Can anybody help?

Use a browser developer tool like Firebug for these exploratory CSS queries.

I am actually using it already. There doesn’t seem to be any particular lines of code reffering simply to the bars, however. All I was able to do was remove the footer or the menu entirely, not just the bars.

Can you provide a link to your webpage and point out where the brown bars are if they’re not apparent?

There it is. It should be easy finding them.

I can see a style that is likely to be causing the brown bar above the footer [screenshot] (highlighted to the right).

That was so obvious I can’t believe I missed it. I already managed to remove the bar from the menu, too. Thank you very much for your help, much appreciated. I still have one more question, but I’m going to create a new thread to keep everything tidy.
