• Unfortunately I was trying to complete Google Webmaster Verification and I pasted the meta code on the homepage by accident. This is right below the header. The question is: how can I remove or delete this and where would it be located. I’m hoping that I won’t have to change the theme. TIA to all

Logically speaking, you will find it in the exact same file where you pasted the verification code.

If you mean you pasted it into the WordPress editor while editing your home page, open the page in the editor and remove the code.

Beyond that, it may be helpful if you are able to post a link to the page where you see the trouble.

Clayton, thanks for the reply. I was able to remove it in themes-editor-header. All deleted looks good. Ron
