Removing Space Above Header Image in Kippis

Hi – I use the Kippis theme. I changed my header image which seems to have resulted in a fair amount of blank white space above the header image. I’m not totally sure that’s what caused it but it is the only change I made.

I tried cropping the image but that doesn’t seem to be the issue.

I searched the forums and have seen similar issues in other themes. They suggest making changes to some files. The lines in the code that have been suggested don’t seem to be in my themes style css file.

I’m a complete novice at coding. Have always used wysiwig editor and plugins to make changes – so please be gentle ?? if you have a suggestion.
