• Hi

    I’m the admin for https://www.firearmscouncil.org.au/. I’m still getting used to WordPress after years of using Joomla

    At the bottom of the front page I have social media icons which I think are better located in the right hand menu, which you will see I have done.

    I can’t remember how I put the icons in the front page – can someone let me know how I can remove them, so they only appear once (ie in the right hand column).

    Yes, I know I have a stray mail icon – just playing around….

  • Hi,

    You’ll have to remove following code from the end (before footer) of this page.

    <div class="synved-social-container synved-social-container-follow" style="text-align: center"><a class="synved-social-button synved-social-button-follow synved-social-size-48 synved-social-resolution-single synved-social-provider-facebook nolightbox" data-provider="facebook" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" title="Follow us on Facebook" href="https://www.facebook.com/firearmscouncilvic" style="font-size: 0px; width:48px;height:48px;margin:0;margin-bottom:5px;margin-right:5px;"><img alt="facebook" title="Follow us on Facebook" class="synved-share-image synved-social-image synved-social-image-follow" width="48" height="48" style="display: inline; width:48px;height:48px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border: none; box-shadow: none;" src="https://sgp5.siteground.asia/~firear39/wp-content/plugins/social-media-feather/synved-social/image/social/regular/96x96/facebook.png" /></a><a class="synved-social-button synved-social-button-follow synved-social-size-48 synved-social-resolution-single synved-social-provider-twitter nolightbox" data-provider="twitter" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" title="Follow us on Twitter" href="https://www.twitter.com/firearmscouncil" style="font-size: 0px; width:48px;height:48px;margin:0;margin-bottom:5px;margin-right:5px;"><img alt="twitter" title="Follow us on Twitter" class="synved-share-image synved-social-image synved-social-image-follow" width="48" height="48" style="display: inline; width:48px;height:48px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border: none; box-shadow: none;" src="https://sgp5.siteground.asia/~firear39/wp-content/plugins/social-media-feather/synved-social/image/social/regular/96x96/twitter.png" /></a><a class="synved-social-button synved-social-button-follow synved-social-size-48 synved-social-resolution-single synved-social-provider-linkedin nolightbox" data-provider="linkedin" target="_blank" rel="nofollow" title="Find us on Linkedin" href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/yourid" style="font-size: 0px; width:48px;height:48px;margin:0;margin-bottom:5px;"><img alt="linkedin" title="Find us on Linkedin" class="synved-share-image synved-social-image synved-social-image-follow" width="48" height="48" style="display: inline; width:48px;height:48px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border: none; box-shadow: none;" src="https://sgp5.siteground.asia/~firear39/wp-content/plugins/social-media-feather/synved-social/image/social/regular/96x96/linkedin.png" /></a></div> </div><!-- END entry -->

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
