If I do a search using Aaron’s built-in search box, the results include the Categories, Comments, and Sharing buttons that is normally at the right side of a blog post– for every item in the search results. Is there a way to turn off the display of Categories, Comments, and the Sharing buttons when showing the results of a search? It would produce a neater, more compact appearance.

Actually, the Share buttons are something I can turn off in one of the settings. So that part of the problem is solved. (I just show the Share buttons on posts.)

I still can’t hide the Categories or comments summary.

    Help!

    https://www.christianboyce.com is the site.

The problem is only there after a search, where I am seeing snippets of each found post.

Thank you for your help Swayam.

Problem is solved in Aaron 2.2! A simple checkbox. Thank you, Carolina!!!!

Actually, there is one more part to this. If someone clicks a Category name in one of my posts, it shows every post in that category. It is sort of a “search” for posts matching the category. In that case, the Meta information shows. I would like it to behave the way it does in a “real” search, with the Meta info hidden. Could this be an option? Seems to me that it should do whatever the “real” searches do– if the checkbox in Advanced Settings is checked (to hide meta info in Searches) then it ought to hide when someone clicks on a category name too.

THEN I would be really happy.
