Hi there. I uninstalled Shareaholic about a month ago. Not wanting to get into that, but I’m afraid it didn’t completely remove. I went to builtwith.com and it is saying that I use Shareaholic for analytics still.

My question is, how can I completely remove this plugin? I can’t seem to find any info of that anywhere, least of all on the official helpdesk. Thank you in advance.

  • Hi @tehmiminator,

Thanks for the info! Would you mind sending me the URL to your site so I can see if any our remaining code is on your site? If you don’t want that info public here, you can always e-mail it directly to [email protected].

    Thanks,
    Mary Anne

@tehmiminator do you have any caching plugins installed? if so, you should clear your cache. Also, I believe BuiltWith can take some time to update (since they periodically crawl websites which can take some time).

Wow, thanks for the fast response guys! My URL is: https://emilydoeslife.com.

I do have a cache plugin installed, but I installed it yesterday so I don’t think it would have cached this plugin.

    Thank you again.

    Hi @tehmiminator,

Thanks for waiting on this! Unfortunately, I was unable to locate any traces of our code on your site. And I also went through our database and noticed that your plugin was never connected to your Shareaholic.com account, so I’m not sure how you were able to get Analytics in the first place. You can try clearing your cache plugin again and/or contacting Builtwith to see how often they update their data. Here’s their contact form. I wish I had more helpful information to provide. And please let me know if you have additional questions about this.

    Thanks,
    Mary Anne
