removing product description from product-category

You have an old version of your theme. A more recent theme version is needed for compatibility with your current version of WooCommerce. See the changelog:

many thanks for your reply! I’ll try and update the Theme (and of course take a backup!)

However, i’m not seeing the product-category page displaying the way I would like to in your link ?? Even if I do update it, i’m unsure as to how I would go about getting the product page to display without the descriptions! If i’m unable to update, is there any way that I can edit a file to not display the description on the products page?

Yes, but updating is the next step. Not updating will make your site vulnerable to other bugs and security issues which have since been fixed, and this is likely to get worse as time goes by.

Your current theme version was not developed to work with your current versions of WordPress and WooCommerce and you don’t want to be winding them back to the versions that worked with your theme version.
