    Hello,

I’ve noticed that when someone clicks a link from an old url it will redirect to my new site, but not remove the old url. For example a link clicked on old.site.com/link will redirect accordingly but the url remains the same. This seems to be causing problems on the site.

How do I configure it so it redirects properly?

How does it redirect but the URL remains the same? How is it causing a problem? What settings have you used for this?

Good question lol. It just does. It causes problems by there being styling issues and when someone adds something to their cart it does not stay in the cart, likely because the domain in the url is incorrect. I originally had in Godaddy a Cname to redirect to the new site, so I thought maybe that was the reason. I then created a forwarding domain setting in Godaddy but now when I go to the old site and a specific url it says “not found”. Not on the the new site mind you, but a “not found” that looks like it’s some system message on Godaddy’s end.

Which part of that is connected to Redirection? There’s a lot of information but I don’t really know how it relates to the plugin.

This was an issue with the redirects from the host, you can disregard.
