• Hello,
    I am building a site using the intrepidity theme and having followed all the advice I have found on the wordpress support forums (and the support forum of the designer) I have been successful in removing the dates and ‘comment’ options to make it look less like a blog.
    I am, however, still having trouble removing the background box that the date was previpously posted in. I have tried uploading a gif file but it has not been successful (maybe I uploaded it to the wrong place). I ultimately want the design to end up with new posts being close together, ideally looking like a new paragraph.
    If anybody has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Many thanks!

    Oh yes, please visit my site, https://www.manzatela.com to see exactly what I mean…

    Hi try removing the line
    .post {background:url(back-entrydate.png) no-repeat 12px 0 }

    from /images/skin-red/style.css in the theme folder.

    That will remove the background image from the posts. which i believe is what you would like to have?

    Many thanks for that Jonathan, that has indeed removed the background image for the date. However, the spacing between the posts is still quite large, do you have any idea how to reduce this? I cannot find the line of code needed in the style.css folder, am I looking in the wrong place?

    Thanks again for the advice, it is greatly appreciated!
