Removing Plugin Stripped Other Scripts in Header

    Hi there,

    I recently deactivated the plugin as there was a lot of outdated scripts i wasn’t using. I had previously installed Google Tag Manager directly in the head of the page. Upon removal of the plugin, my Google Tag Manager was also removed leaving with almost a week’s worth of missing data in Google Analytics.

    I have since rolled back the plugin.

    Can you explain why or how this might happen? Or perhaps a fix to prevent this from happening in the future?

    Hello jon,

    If we understand you correctly, any script added via the plugin will get removed on removal of the plugin. You will have to add them manually again. Please let us know if this helps and if we can assist you further.
