Removing plugin & images media library

  • Just wanted to share with everybody that if you plan on removing the plugin and decide to reupload the same image assets onto WordPress. DO NOT DELETE THE IMAGES STORED ON AZURE BLOBS UNDER THE MEDIA LIBRARY! If the images have the same file name, deleting the duplicate from the media section WILL remove both instances. Did not figure out a way to remove safely… Maybe someone can chime in…

    I disabled this plugin and re-uploaded all my image assets + meta descriptions (took a LONG time) to my database via Media Library. And for obvious reasons I was deleting the duplicate images that was stored in Azure blobs. After removing I noticed both images were missing… I’m assuming it happened because it had the same file name… now back to work…
