Removing or moving captions

I’m having some problems in using Next Gen Gallery Gallery View. How do I get rid of the alt tags and descriptions from showing on the page. They overlap the panel and really make it look bad. I’ve played with many option and they won’t go away. Even tried using and not using the Captions. To be honest, if they were below the filmstrip and not over the panel it might not be so bad. I’m sure I’m just missing something.
