    Hello,

I am trying to edit the default text on the front page slider (using the Optimizer theme). So far, I have been unable to do so.

Attempt 1-20: I went to customize > front page > slider > edit slider content. In the box that appeared, I deleted the default text “ADVANCED. STRONG. RELIABLE…” and then clicked “save and close.” The slider did not update.

Next attempt: After looking at the support forums, I went to customize > front page > slider > edit slider content, hit ctrl+A to select the text in the box, and then delete to delete the text. Then entered the new text, and clicked “save and close.” Still nothing happens. Default text is still there.

Final attempt: Disabled all plugins, went to customize > front page > slider > edit slider content. Tried hitting ctrl+A and delete (in the visual tab this time). The default text was removed. Now, I am unable to click anywhere in the text area or enter new text. The box just appears blank.

Here is the URL for reference: https://d1f.8dd.myftpupload.com/

Any ways to remedy this problem would be much appreciated! Thank you!

  • Hi -@hannahebrantley1

The site seems to be fine. The default text has been changed when I checked your site URL.
    Is your problem solved??

    Thank You!!

    Hello,

I also attempted all the things you mentioned above, the box is blank but I can still edit inside the text area.

If problem continues, download the fresh copy of the optimizer theme and customize it again as your requirement.
