Removing Opacity/Overlay in Hestia Header

I tried the same code at my end and it’s working.

Can you please share a screenshot to show where have you added the code?

I use snippets in wordpress and it always used to work:

It also doesn’t work anymore when I use Magic CSS (live CSS editor in Chrome)
