    hi,

https://yoast.com/rss-feeds-panda-penguin/ mentions “We’ve added a filter nofollow_rss_links that defaults to true. If you return false on that filter the nofollow will be removed…”

how does one change that value to ‘false’? i’ve looked through the plugin’s files with no luck finding that filter…

it’s for a syndication network that is fed by the blog posting

    thanks

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. The nofollow_rss_links filter was renamed to wpseo_nofollow_rss_links and as such, you couldn’t find it. Can you please try using the wpseo_nofollow_rss_links to check whether this works for you?

In addition, we have also requested our content team to update the relevant article on Yoast.com to avoid any further confusion in future.

    Thanks for your quick reply!

Can you tell me what plugin file that’s in?
(The plugin has changed a lot from the old video I was referencing.)

    Thanks

@artisanseo To use the wpseo_nofollow_rss_link filter you would need to add the filter to your theme’s functions.php file.

I thought I understood your solution, but when I actually tried to apply it… I remain confused. (Using Astra free theme with Elementor plugin).

Are you say to just add ‘wpseo_nofollow_rss_link’ (to the end of?) to the themes function.php file?

Could you provide a screenshot or an example?

    Obviously, I’m *not* a coder. ??

    Thanks
