Removing <ul> and <a href> from child category title

    I want to insert the child category name into a class so I can change the color of text via css, depending on what the child category is. Iv been able to insert the child name into the class, but it gets wrapped inside of a unordered list and then a link.

    Is there a way to strip the list and the link and leave just one child to use for styling purposes.

    I know somebody out there has thought of this!

    How about this, can somebody tell me if this is possible? If it is, Ill keep searching out a solution, if it’s not I wont.
