Removing Jigoshop

  • Hello…my customer has decided to not sell online anymore…when I went to delete the jigoshop plugin, the entire site disappeared with the exception of the main page banner. Is there any way to avoid this? I don’t need the cart but I do need the site! =)

    Try to deactivate all Jigoshop plugins first.

    sorry, i only deactivated, and all disappeared, nothing left but the front page banner..

    This is probably the result of the theme having Jigoshop elements built-in. You’ll need to access the site via FTP and change the theme name in order to turn off the theme (this will allow you to access the Dashboard). Then reactivate Jigoshop within the WordPress Dashboard. After that you should be able to change the name to the theme back to the original and reactivate it within the Dashboard.

    In order to use the theme you may have to leave Jigoshop activated and just remove the pages required for Jigoshop.
