    Hi there.

    I currently use the automated feed option to generate the product feed to submit to the Google Merchant Center.

    There’s 2 products that I don’t want included in Google Shopping.

    Is there way to remove or block these products from being included?

    Thanks

    Hi @douglasdd,

    Well there is an option for that, but only on the premium versions of our plugin. How it works is explained here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NNQxZZiRyU

    Hi @michel-jongbloed, thank you for the quick response and the video.

    The reason I’m hoping to remove these 2 products is because they constantly trigger an error in the Google merchant account.

    “Mismatched value (page crawl) [price]”

    I’ve done a lot of troubleshooting on the issue. For some reason the feed keeps on generating a different price that isn’t related to the price on the website. All of the other products on the feed are working no problems.

    Any idea why this might be occuring?

    Thanks

    @douglasdd,

    Is the price in the feed the same as the price on the product page of your web site or is it different? I ask this because Google crawls the price on a different way that from your product page so it could also be that Google is getting an incorrect price.

    If the feed price for these products is different from the product page, could you tell me what the correct product price for both products is and what is in the feed for these products?

    No, the prices in the feed are different to the website.
    The website prices are the correct ones.

    See feed here: https://bit.ly/3jphral

    The 2 products in question:

    Product 1 – https://bit.ly/3gwXaxO

    Price in Feed – 170.00EUR
    Price on Website – 135.00EUR

    Product 2 – https://bit.ly/2Qy7kDJ

    Price in Feed – 198.00EUR
    Price on Website – 23.00EUR

    Thanks again.

    @douglasdd,

    These are both product variations.

    When you look at the first product, the price in the feed is of the product with product id BLPA3P, which is € 170 both on the site and in the feed. So that one is correct.

    The second product is the product with id SPK, which I can’t find on the web site. So I’m not sure what is happening there.

    But both products are product variations and because you are using the free version of our plugin, the feed will include the main product of the product variations. If you check the products in your Products -> edit view, you’ll probably find that the prices in the feed are the same as the first variation in the list of variations.

    With the free plugin, the only thing to do is to only manually update the feed and then manually remove or edit both products.
