Removing index.php in Permlinks etc..

  • Hello,

    I did a search but couldn’t find an answer.

    I was wondering if it is possible to remove index.php in front of permlinks. I had it on my last version of wordpress but i think it did it automatically.

    When i remove it from “custom permlinks” it does it, however a 404 error comes up?

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
