I love this new WP-Brown theme I recently implemented, but for the life of me I can not figure out how to remove (or otherwise modify) the “Advertisements” box in the upper right hand corner of the page. It doesn’t show up in the widgets section of site admin, or, as far as I can tell, anywhere else. How am I supposed to modify that section?

I’m a relatively new blogger and I’m enjoying it all immensely and want to delve deeper into the morass. My blog is located at https://jawesome.org/socialdeus/ (I promise I’m not fishing for views).

    Thanks,

    Grant

Did you check the sidebar.php file of the theme?

IOW, just edit the sidebar.php file and remove the divs containing the ads and save. Ads gone.
