Removing 'featured image' from homepage completely

Hello. How can I remove the featured image option completely from entries shown on the Customizr homepage?
I’m referring to the circular image next to regular entries, as shown here: https://www.hongwrong.com.

I have never set a ‘featured image’ in individual blog posts so I cannot remove them manually.
They all appeared after I installed (then removed) “nrelate Related Content” plugin.

Would v.much appreciate it if anyone has a code snippet for this. ?? I use a child theme and have searched for a solution to this prob thoroughly.
