Removing Featured Event Formatting

    I am aware of the KB article that talks about using the .type-tribe_events.tribe-event-featured class to remove the background color for featured events. This works in the widget view, but not in the list view. Furthermore, if I hunt down the style to make it work in list view, then I have to modify a whole bunch of other styles to make it look like the unfeatured events.

    Basically, I want to be able to feature events with minimal interruption to their styling–maybe only a border box or something. Why feature them, then? Because for the widget, I have selected the option to ‘Limit to Featured Events Only’ in order to avoid non-featured events from showing on the front page.

    So, is there any easy way to “reset” the featured events styling so that nothing is applied unless I explicitly define it? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Thanks for reaching out, happy to help with this styling issue! ??

    1. I’d recommend first trying some of the other options under “Events<Settings<Display<Default stylesheet used for events templates.” See if one of the other settings solves your problem. (This is the easy fix.)

    2. Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can see and interact with.

    Howdy @shelbelliot,

    1. I did try all of those settings. The current settings of Full Styles/Default Page Template seem to be the best balance for me.

    2. The site address is https://issafortworth.org. Unfortunately, I had to unfeature these events so I could launch the site. Hopefully, this will be good enough, but if not, I’ll have to set up a development version so I can show you.
