Removing EXIF data for featured images

Hi,

My featured image alone displays the camera details and other exif data whereas other images doesn’t display. Actually I want to hide all the exif data. “Show photo metadata” is unchecked under my media settings and also I use WPSmush plugin and there also I have turned off preserve exif data. Not sure why my featured image alone displays the exif data.

Is there a way to removed the exif data from featured images?
