removing "event' from the URL

    hello, i need to remove “event” from the URL
    i went to the settings > pages > permalinks and took it out but it’s still showing up.
    we had a bunch of posters made up without”event” in the URL and i need to fix this ASAP please.

    Hi,

    Unfortunately, there needs to be something like events in the permalink for WordPress and Events Manager to keep events separate from posts, pages and other content.
