• I have a lot of divi code to remove and rather than editing each post by hand I want to remove common blocks like

    [et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ fullwidth=”on” next_background_color=”#0c0c0c” _builder_version=”4.16″ use_background_color_gradient=”on” background_color_gradient_stops=”rgba(0,0,0,0.75) 0%|rgba(0,0,0,0.75) 100%” background_color_gradient_overlays_image=”on” background_color_gradient_start=”rgba(0,0,0,0.75)” background_color_gradient_end=”rgba(0,0,0,0.75)” background_image=”https://ccsmndev.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/Best-Garage-Floor-Coating-System.jpg” bottom_divider_style=”ramp2″ z_index_tablet=”500″ global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_fullwidth_code _builder_version=”4.16″ text_orientation=”center” custom_padding=”75px||75px|” z_index_tablet=”500″ global_colors_info=”{}”]

    However this doesn’t match – I assume I need to escape certain charaters? Which ones?

    Thx

  • Hi @tomgerber,

    Better Search Replace Support Team here. Thanks for reaching out with your query! We would be happy to assist.

    It’s possible that part of the Divi code could be saved in the database as HTML entities (e.g., <, > for < and >). So what you’re seeing in the editor might be different from the database content.

    Please also watch out for the quotes used (like or ) as they may not match regular quotes ("). These could affect why the code isn’t matching.

    We hope this helps. Please let us know how it goes!
