Removing date and author name

  • Hi,

    I am using different themes on a couple of my websites. And I have successfully removed date, author and the footer credit “Proudly Powered by wordpress” from my websites.

    But, when I visit the website through my mobile, I find the date and the footer to still appear. Can someone help me remove the date?

    I do not want the name and date to appear in google results. How do I remove the date and author name in such a way that it is not indexed by google?
