removing dark header overlay

Customizer –> Additional CSS :
#page-site-header .overlay { display: none; }

Or, if that removes the overlay from other areas where you want to keep it, you could edit your single.php file, and add this :

<style type="text/css">
.overlay { display: none; }
</style>

Do I really? I’ve only added one other custom CSS. The others must have come with the theme.
