• I’m having an issue with the text “Continue reading →” />” displaying inconsistently in the top left of my website along with the background.

First, I want to get rid of it completely. I have unchecked and disabled any options I could find relating to excerpts, but I think this my be a bug because it isn’t even a live link.

    My website is https://www.trekfortwo.com
and the text displays on the /about, /world-trip-2011, /packing, and /planning pages.. It doesn’t display on the home page or /photo-archives, /hiking-photos, or /international-photos.

I have Weaver 2010 installed using the “twenty ten” sub theme. Any suggestions for removing this?

  • it is likely from the seo plugin that you are using, which uses improper code to generate the meta description.

    change to a different plugin.

Sweet Thanks!!!!!! That fixed it just by deactivating the “SEO meta tags” plugin.
