Removing Comments section and author section

Hi there,

I am trying to remove the ‘Comments are closed’, ‘About the author’ and the ‘About this post’ section at the bottom of my posts/projects.

I have installed the custom CSS plugin but the code that I found through the last posts on here did not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
