Hope this is an easy one to answer.

Have created several hundred posts to be split in two categories one set for reviews that allow comments and another set that are part of a database so no need for comments.

I unticked the Allow Comments box on every database post but it still leaves a Comments Closed box which I can’t seem to find a way to clear which contains the following:

Comments are closed. You will not be able to post a comment in this post.

Could someone please point me in the right direction to drop this? The database posts are all under specific categories and there’s approx 300.

    Hi

I am designing a blogging website for a bar in Thailand but have never used wordpress before and never designed a blogging site before.

I am a novice when it comes to website design and i dont have and real html knowledge.

I have created a blog page and directed all new posts to be listed their but im having some problems.

When i click on a post in the blog page im not taken to the post, im just shown this message. NOT FOUND sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.

I dont understand what going on…

Do i need to create and link a separate “Page” for every post i want people to comment on?

Why can people only comment on my “Page” and not my “Post”?

I thought i could create a post and have people comment on the post? I thought that was the whole point.

When i click on my recent posts widget im given the message NOT FOUND sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here. But when i use the categories widget to find a post it opens OK but i still cant comment on the post.

Please if anyone has any advice or ideas let me know, i’m going crazy….

aussie-bar.com/rumdumbar/ is the site if anyone want to look at the code

    Many thanks

    Ben
