Removing Comment Box

  • This is a simple question im sure has been asked a few times (the search on here isnt working), how do you get rid of the comment/leave reply box within posts?

    In discussion i have unticked “Allow people to post comments on new articles” and it still shows a comment box.

  • dashboard – posts – edit/add new
    on this page click on “Screen Options” at top of page
    tick “Discussion”
    now scroll to bottom of page and you have a check box to enable comments or not on posts/pages
