    Hi there,

On my site I have a blog. I set this up by creating a category called “blog” and having my blog posts assigned to that category. I then have a page called blog where I display posts within the blog category. The URL for the blog is doman.tld/blog/ the breadcrumbs provide a link to domain.tld/category/blog/ is is possible to have the breadcrumb link to the blog page without using the category hierarchy within the URL.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Urbexy,

    Thanks for writing to us.

We have checked on your site and it seems that the breadcrumb is fine, it is displaying as “Home/Blog/WWII photography cover-up” which seems to be right. Let us know the issue with some screenshot so that we can address you better.

Feel free to contact us for any further assistance.

    Regards

Thanks for your reply. The Breadcrumb does display correctly, but the link goes to /category/blog/ when I really need it to go to /blog/

    Thanks again.

    Hi Urbexy,

We want to let you know as it is the default behavior of every breadcrumb when you use them with WordPress posts. The behavior can vary if breadcrumb is used with custom posts.

    Regards
