Removing Category Base And SiteMap Plugin

I’ve noitced that when I remove the category base using the no category base plugin the google site map plugin fails to recognise my category pages anymore for their new location.

Does anyone know or can show me a way to get the categories to still be part of the xml sitemapt but without the category base.
