Removing Capabilities

    In my theme I have two custom post types which I removed after finishing development for the theme as my client no longer needed these post types. Both post types were created in the functions file for the theme using the register post type function, including setting the available capabilities for each respective post type.

    After removing the two post types from the functions file for the theme, the capabilities for the two post types are still showing up in the Additional tab in Publish Press Capabilities. I have gone through my roles and checked the red X for each of these, however I would prefer they are deleted completely.

    How do I delete this capabilities permanently?

    Can anyone provide advice on this issue? I have looked through documentation and searched and cannot find an answer for this question. If someone from PublishPress has a chance to reply that would be great!

    Thanks for using PublishPress Capabilities.

    If capabilities are not being loaded by a plugin or theme, and they are not assigned to any user role, then they will disappear.
