Throw a blank text widget into call to action widget and it will remove the WELCOME to PURE & SIMPLE message

The solution s as rlcarbo stated, throw a blank text widget is banner as well as cta widget to get rid of that.

Go to Appereance->Widgets-> and add a Text widget to the Banner Wide Widget Position & Call To Action Widget Position. The problem will be solved.

Maybe I’m a complete dweeb but I can’t upload the latest version…

I’m having the same problem as Lunagrown.com and Apricots and Cream.
My website now has 12 pages with helmet boy and welcome message, my drop down menus are unable to be used and there are four widget place holders at the bottom of each of my pages. https://www.donnaionadrozda.com/lifecycle

I see that https://www.ratayczak.pl no longer has the banner but the drop down menu is no longer functional…which seems to be a by-product of this glitch.

I also think it’s time to upgrade to the Pure & Simple Pro version…it’s a great theme and I value the additional support now that I’ve hit my first glitch with the theme.

This issue was fixed in 1.1.2 but I’ve just updated to 1.1.3 and it’s back!! How do I get rid of the helmet boy photo and footer widgets??
