• I’m using the Header Slider Plugin which is working fine and exactly what I was looking for. However there is a white margin space of about a 1/4 inch below the images. If I take the slider off and use random still images the margin disappears. But as soon as I put on the slider the margin appears. Link to site www2.mgpi.biz

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this unwanted margin?

    [no bumping]

I’m so sorry. This is my first new post and I didn’t realize I was bumping. Does this mean I need to close this post and start a new one? Again I apologize. You folks are so helpful and I don’t want to do anything to jeopardize your responses. Thanks for the warning.

how did you integrate the slider?
i.e. what is the code for the slider in header.php (?)

in the html output in the browser, there is an inline style at the start of the slider:
    <div style="width: 1030px; height: 297px; position: relative; background: url(&quot;https://www2.mgpi.biz/wp-content/uploads/cropped-Header-Search.jpg&quot;) no-repeat scroll 0% 0% transparent;" class="nivoSlider headerSlider">.....

reducing the height might close the gap.

I brought the slider in as a plugin and after activation the slider option appeared in my Header options. Apperance>Header. Instead of uploading header images for random review, I chose the slider. It was all rather simple. I didn’t change any coding.
If I choose random still images using the exact same images as the slider, the images are perfectly aligned but as soon as I select the slider the images now have a bottom and right side white margin.
