Removing a horizontal gray bar

There is a faint gray horizontal line along the top of the header menu. I am trying to remove it.

I have tried a variety of CSS fixes that I’ve found in the WP forums, and on presscustomizr.com, but nothing seems to work.

Can anyone suggest a solution?
