Unfortunately, there is a paid theme. Since I can not even just download and try.

If the theme reads the title for the bread crumb within the loop, then I do not see any possibility for my plugin to distinguish.

Unfortunately, I can not do anything in my plugin.

The theme used for breadcrumbs get_the_title the function in which I change the title by the_title filter. I can not tell whether it is the title or the breadcrumb but.
I can not recognize whether the call for the title or for the breadcrumb is.

The breadcrumbs are generated in the file core / includes / functions-extension.php in the function responsive_breadcrumb_lists.

The function you could rebuild.
Either you disable short my filter or you are the title of self, without which it runs through the filter.

Thank you for a quick reply. I will go for the rebuild because of the possibility to also rewrite the whole responsive_breadcrumb_lists for my own purpose.
