Removes everything from htaccess file

  • Another seo plugin that changes data inside .htaccess. The solution is to put access 600 on the file!

    This plugin edit and remove lines in
    # BEGIN WordPress
    this – remove all my lines
    # END WordPress

    We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing problems with Yoast SEO. We know how concerning it’s when the content of your .htaccess file is modified inadvertently. Our plugin allows you to edit the .htaccess file from the WordPress dashboard, but it shouldn’t change the file content by itself. So, the issue you’re experiencing is unexpected behavior.

    Can you please make sure you’re running the latest version of WordPress 5.7.2 and Yoast SEO 16.5 and, if the problem persists, create a new topic in the plugin forum? Our support team will look into the issue and assist you further.
